Halo Recessed Housing - IC - Air-Tite - New Construction - 5-in - Stainless Steel-

The H5ICAT from Halo is an Air-Tite recessed light housing designed for new construction installations where the housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. This Air-Tite housing is equipped with preinstalled gaskets. It is designed to prevent airflow between living spaces and unconditioned areas, which improves comfort and reduces energy loss. Additionally, it features an integral thermal protector to prevent the motor from burning in case of excessive heat generation. This housing is equipped with many features that speed up installation time, such as: preinstalled bar hangers with regressed nails and self-levelling, Slide-N-Side junction box allows for the wiring connections to be made outside, preinstalled push in wire connectors for faster electrical connections and Pass-N-Thru bar hangers allow the mounting bars to be shortened without having to remove them. It is compatible with a wide range of trim styles and finishes (sold separately). This product is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
